Half-Life 1 crashes on Surface Tension?

I have searched up this problem and found no working solutions
When I get to the part with the dam, it works, but when I start to hear the helicopter, the game crashes. No error messages or anything like that. The game just closes. Any idea how to fix?

The surface is too tense for your computer, so the game /wrists itself when it hears the helicopter

Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

Right click on the game in your Steam Library, then go to Local Files and click the Button.
