It was on channel 5 where I live, but I forgot the network.  It's over now.

Yeah, the episode is over, I have it recorded. I'm literally updating it 15 minutes late lol.

Follow in his footsteps.

He either won 37 or 39 thousand dollars in total. He came in second place so unfortunately he is off the show.
It's 21 thousand plus 13 thousand, plus 3 thousand for the first episode, and possible plus two thousand for the second one.
This is because the 3rd place contestant gets a 1000 dollar bonus to pay for the trip over there, the 2nd a 2000 dollar bonus, and the 3rd one a 3000 dollar bonus.
I'm not sure if they give him a bonus for each episode or just the first one.
Good job dad.

I am happy for you, and your dad! Congrats to him! I wish you'd show us who he was though on Jeopardy.

Tell us how much he got after taxes.

Prize tax is horse stuff :(

If you removed 30% of 39 thousand you get 27 thousand and 300 dollars.

Yes.

Awesome.  Yeah I saw that.  I also got Final Jeopardy question right.

If you removed 30% of 39 thousand you get 27 thousand and 300 dollars.
I'm afraid it might be more than that.

i haven't looked up the tax code for it, but I think prize tax comes first, THEN you have to file it under income tax as well.

Bad Bump, but is it William?

Congratulations, Zalot's dad.
