what do you think? I was thinking of hosting something in that kinda way. I've gotten mixed opinions on it, saying people wont do it and the other side saying it would be better, what do you think would be better?
Pros for hosting in game

* No hassle of clicking a link
* a lot easierCons:

* 30 seconds
* Mono
* Very limited
* Massive Download especially for things with lots of musicHosting from a streaming service
Pros

* better quality music
* No loops or any type of issues with that
* Being able to follow a playlistCons

* Annoying to open stream
* People with bad internet would have issues connect possibly
* 5 second delayBy streaming, I mean hosted from Twitch.tv or Mixify. Two sites where you can host livestreams

Well there are legal reasons why streaming music isn't a feature.  Sure it would be cool, but as a feature, it's not worth looking into for that reason.

I mean, you get people to click a link that leads to a livestream. I don't see how it would be illegal and if I were to use Mixify. It gives credit to the artists that play, but on the server it would give an announcement of what was playing

I love how you didn't specify that in the OP at all.

No, that's not illegal.  Most topics involving streaming mention direct and public streaming into a Blockland server.

Edit:  And now you post it.  I'm pretty sure that there's a legal issue with that.  Badspot would have to go through legal clearance to code that into the game.  I'm pretty sure it's impossible anyways, though if it were done, it would probably cause lag.
