On the subject of developers MicroSoft has killed off, remember FASA Corp. and Zipper Interactive? Shadowrun, the old MechWarriors, and my personal favorite, Crimson Skies! Ahhhh...

You're the first person I've seen to cite KotoR II as an example of a good game. Most people I've talked to who played that thought it felt rushed and nowhere near as good as the first one.
