Tons of people leave games because of the game's community. If they don't feel comfortable around such a community, it's their fault for buying the game.
I checked Blockland's forums for a while before buying the game, and I felt fine with getting it.

Haha, I just watched one or two youtube videos! Then I loved the game! Got the demo for a few days, loved it even more until I bought the full version in October 2012
