this, and to prove your point, I bought both a Xbox360 controller and an off-brand steering wheel 1 or 2 years ago for my computer, the controller works like new, as for the steering wheel I can't even configure to make it work anymore, never again

Batteries? Why in the hell would you get a controller that uses batteries rather than dishing out a bit more on one that's rechargeable?
