it wouldn't be any different
most likely, ps3 controllers are more work for the user. (going through DS3 tool or something to emulate xbox controller)

Well I used a third party controller, a wireless afterglow controller.

The GUI will allow you to bind the controller, so you just have to click the button in the list and select what it does, though I need to finish it when I get the chance.

Yeah, that one. Instead of making a whole new GUI, just make it so that you can use it with the Options menu. It should be just like changing the controls for mouse/keyboard.

Alright, next time I'm on the computer I still see if it's possible.
Would make it a whole lot easier except I still will need to make the support for the brown townog sticks.

I'm not really sure how useful this would be. Blockland isn't very compatible with controllers. Building is completely out of the question and the general control scheme is made for a mouse and keyboard.
Also brown townog sticks are really inaccurate for aiming
