A rifled barrel is basically a rifle that has been rifled-
yeah yeah yeah i know what rifling is

I once sniped a squirrel with a pellet gun.

Gophers are more challenging. If you miss they go in there hole and stay down there for awhile.

Squirrels do the same thing, cept they run up into a tree to where you can't get them.

Get a Remmington Air Master 77. It is heavy and feels like a real gun. DO NOT get the Crossman Recruit (I have it). Its an OK beginner gun, but the barrel is already getting surface rust and it ways only 3 pounds.

I dunno about airsofts.

a lot of them look like real rifles but they shoot like toys. I might have to only use pellets.

depends what gun you get sometimes

imo the non 'toy' like airsoft guns are too much for a little kid to maintain/take care of

Go for Crossman, haven't had any problems with them.

youll shoot your eye out!

Some can shoot pellets. The Recruit and Airmaster do.

You are probably going to have the best bet going on ebay and buying a rifle from the mid 80s and back. They are way more heavy, possibly made in USA, "feel real," look better, and no one else will have one lol. But yeah my favorite BB guns to shoot are my Grandpa's 40 year old ones. He has a Daisy that is wonderful... Wooden stock baby.

Airmaster 77 and Crosman 2100 are probably your best bet. They both Fire BB's and Pellets. They are pretty the same rifle, except painted in different colors and have different barrels.
