General Opinions on Personal add-ons?

Considering a lot of forumers don't play the game. They wouldn't understand how frustrating getting your build stolen or getting your add-on released early would feel.

You're right. And I made this thread with that in mind.
I was truly curious.
It's when people started expressing how entitled they really are is when I got mad.

Also, i'm not the only one who's flinging names in this thread.
It's a touchy issue, and I feel strongly about it.

having something you've worked on copied is a pretty universal situation so i'm sure there's not a single person who can't relate to it somehow
not everyone ties their ego in with their creations. i know plenty of people who have invested a lot of time in things but still couldn't give a stuff if someone else decides to rip it

sure if you wanna rip someone's stuff an make an even more half-assed version for your server, there's probably not much wrong with it, but don't expect to be allowed to release it without the original author's permission
