So I've gotten into doing proper dynamics and musicality in fl studio so i did a little mockup of a John Williams brass ensemble part (hymn to the fallen) by ear

kinda crappy but dynamics are cool i guess

I like it. This sounds very full and warm; if the instruments are digital then you did a great job giving them presence and bringing out the brassy timbres.

Do any of you know a way to get a fluttery flute sound using a plugin like EastWest? im going for something kinda like the flute in these two songs:

If anybody could help that would be great.

Legato Patches. Use the mod wheel (CC #1) to change the timbre of the instrument and automate expression (CC #11) for the dynamics. You can also use patches with or without vibrato. Writing grace notes in your music gives it the fluttery movement of the music (typically written for piccolo)

Edit: The EastWest libraries are incredibly powerful, I would recommend going through the manual that they provide online. Been using them for about a year now, and the only downside is the occasional hick-up with the plugin.

Did another brass mockup by ear. This piece was originally for voice and piano so idk. I'm probably obsessed with using brass or something
Imo this one is a bit better sounding than the last.

Made this today, I thought I'd mix actual instruments with music composing.

It's only a minute long, but feedback is still cool.

Also I'd recommend it with headphones.

can FL Studio use EastWest/Quantum Leap plugins

can FL Studio use EastWest/Quantum Leap plugins
if it is a VST it can almost definitely work with FL

but is EastWest/Quantum Leap a VST

but is EastWest/Quantum Leap a VST
it looks like multiple different products, but yeah they are VSTs and (therefore/also) can be used w/ FL

made this part of a rock song or something and i have ascended

the drums are not always on point but i didnt bother to make them flawless, i just wanted to make something quick
the playing can be sloppy at times, especially the bass
but i really really like it
