If you want to improve this, take action on the following:
Balance the weapons in the store, or remove the store entirely. The starter pistol itself is very very stuffty, though it's not too bad when you only need to get five kills to get the best weapon in the game (lego blaster revolver or whatever). You could also save up a whole 500 points for a lightsaber, but it sucks.
The Ewoks are apparently weaker than the Stormtroopers, but the teams are 1:1; the Stormtroopers also get faster spawns to capture points, due to their base being smaller.
Spawn camping is illegal but the design encourages it, for example: there are capture points spread across the map, if you capture them: your team may spawn in the center of the capture point. In order for a member of the opposite team to capture an already owned point; they have to kill whoever spawns out of them, otherwise they'll just get over-runned, but since the capture point is the spawn point: I have to just keep spamming the capture point with bullets as I'm capturing it.
Now obviously everyone is calling me a spawn killer, but what am I supposed to do? When people spawn on these points should I just give them a nice back-rub, and their complimentary cookie baggie; then challenge them to a friendly duel whilst more stormtroopers are spawning on the point that I want to capture?
No, I'm just going to spray bullets on it, and of course the other team doesn't want to do the same due to some sort of honor complex that really means nothing when the game encourages these types of things. It's the responsibility of the developer to deter spawn camping, not the players.
Now; myself, 100 points later with a blaster rifle and a pill: am able to easily kill most everyone on the server (mind you I could have easily done it with just the 5 point pistol, but that would require rapid clicking).
Spo in general has made good builds in the past; but while they look good they always have some sort of logistic issue:(Red block; too small buildings. Vault escape; pistols are OP) and now it has come to spawn killing issues.
Banning players for faulty design, or massivly altering the teams due to map design choice is not the solution. You need to have a good design from the start.
