Your teacher is giving you instruction (notes to complete) and that counts as work. If the teacher is telling you to do something, that's work you're supposed to do
But here's the fun part. "If the teacher is telling you to do something, that's work you're supposed to do" she didn't tell us.

You're 19?
Try fixing your profiles age first.

You guys are being so ridiculous lol. So maybe being a smart ass to her wasn't the best way to understand the situation but honestly I find it funny that she sent him into the class room to do three problems in an attempt to make him look stupid in front of the class and when he showed her wrong she got pissed and sent him to the office.

Not doing notes isn't like some end of the world stuff and you all are acting like he's some ungrateful dumbass for not doing them.

Fix what? If it matters to you 18-19 is the appropriate age for a senior in my school.
And what does that have to do with anything I've discussed so far?

You're 19?
Really?
You get held back a year or what?

Definitely not a year over 13.

Moved from Germany to the Us. Dad was in the air force. They held me back one year because "German schools are not the best schools for young toddlers"

I was held back in 3rd grade and I'm still graduating as a 18 year old.

i can see the teacher's point if you've had trouble in the past

if you do well in the class and have shown no signs of being unsure of things then that's not extremely justified

at that point it's more on-par with just wanting people to work for the sake of working

regardless you shouldn't have responded in that way, even though i don't know the circumstances. that's just not how you talk to people who hold authority. she had every right to do everything she did in response, and i'm extremely surprised she didn't take you personally to the office after what you said.

Definitely not a year over 13.
Your opinion does not matter.
You're a german?
Yes-ish and no. Dad is German. Mother is English. America - Germany - America.

Yeah. I know what I did wrong. But seeing everyone else not at least taking 5% the blame made me snap. I felt bad afterwards but my rage kind of simmered over the end there. I can admit I am a roostery rooster but so what? I am arrogant, yes but I don't make mistakes like (some) of my peers do.

Edit: Problem Solved case closed. My bitter half got the best of me and teacher's not the sweetest apple on the tree.

So you don't speak German?

Welp, this topic was fun.
