yeah, kinda like that. i was thinking more like my WIP mod-ter bedroom or demian's brick bedroom

i can also imagine a huge project to build those GSF cities

it's not that simple lol
and no matter what, it would have looked like crap at the scale blockland is, you'd always see the gross pixels and it would just look ridiculous alongside the actually good looking shaders
Zealott:
these types of threads should be bannable
they are just spam by now.

I hate when people say they looked bad. they weren't crCIA or anything like that but they looked fine and were fun to play around with.
honestly I miss them but i like shaders and bots much more and I wouldn't go back
I also think that the new update really makes people work more, since you can't just litter a few boxes around a pre-made map anymore. It makes people be creative.

and anyway, isn't a built version of a default map better? you can edit it as opposed to the real version.
i'd love it if someone transferred slopes into modter.
heedicalking:
i don't see really any loss in the gsf cities. they can be remade and look/work better than the interior versions. plus you could blow em up and stuff.

i cant say the same for bedroom though because the brick bedrooms dont convey the feeling of being in a house like the interior one did.

it is that simple. you change a couple of lines of code. they've even done it before.

i don't see how it would look ridiculous. if you actually do it right. instead of having your house brick texture contain 12 bricks, have it contain 4. you wouldn't need to blimp up textures like snow and rock and grass, since non-interior maps don't have to have human-scale textures because there isn't a human-scale object to reference
