those people who think sitting is dangerous and unhealthy are probably some kind of bullstuff head massaging, grass munching, starbucks chugging moronic group
that or a bunch of soccer moms
I sat in a chair once and I can support this message.

i sit all day and i do think my body suffers as a result. i'm not exactly average sized though which could be a massive component of that.

i played rome 2 for like 3 hours using my makeshift standing desk and i actually feel better than i usually would, feet felt a bit weird from the blood running to them though

I'd say if it makes you feel more comfortable then go for it. Just adjust as you see fit. I can imagine if you're playing any kind of long term strategy game standing would be healthier and probably keep you alert.

but if you lean over

like

all of your stuff falls off

wh
what the hell
why would anyone do this to themselves

Has science gone too far?

its a desk that you stand at
but why

its a desk that you stand at
but why
to stand instead of sit?

i dont know other peoples motivations but i sit all day so the prospect of standing while on the computer actually appeals to me

I just can't stand still for any period of time.  I always end up shifting my feet and leaning on things.  I'm a fidgety person.

its pretty uncomfortable to stand in one place for a long time. but then again its the same with sitting so i guess its really whatever tickles your pickle
