why not have a dm where the weapons shoot all explosives
shotguns would shoot rockets
smgs would shoot grenades
revolvers would shoot nukes
rocketlanchers would shoot missiles

come on it'd be great
someone make this

it's not noobtubing if the game is built around explosives you ass

noobtubing is someone using explicitly only explosives in a context in which explosives aren't the go-to weapon (or even a 'primary' weapon at all) and are able to do substantially better because of it, and even then it's only noobtubing when the explosives are being used explicitly because they allow new players to deal damage, but not as much damage as they could be dealing if they were using a more specialized weapon (that requires higher skill)

it's like random crits in team fortress

the difference is though that everyone using rockets is just everyone using rockets

that's just quake gameplay

incidentally, everything exploding was probably the only legitimate complaint folks had about my randomizer dm

don't forget the nail bomb that shreds everything in close range, like, if youre closer than 15 bricks to that thing you're loving dead no exceptions
