well half the ones posted in this topic have been name brand, and the models have been complete stuff.

name brand =/= good.
good = good.

there are plenty of brands and models with 7.1 surround. like ACTUALLY has multiple drivers per ear.
not that stuff of 1 speaker on each side, and using special software to fake it.

and within your budget even.

if you are using them to game on a desktop, then its a must. every computer for the last 6 years has 7.1 sound ports

you should probably name something, provide some links, or something.

cept multiple drivers does actually improve the surround sound. even if they are close together.

even if its just 2 drivers in each ear.

since when in speaker HISTORY has a single speaker even been the best option to cover both the bass and treble? you should go preach to every electronics store and car speaker shop in the world.

The Coloud Knock is a pretty good pair. I've had a pair for a year and I love 'em. They're not collapsible, but they're very light and still fairly small. The audio quality is stupendous.
