It's not missing, you just didn't look
Not on the OP at least.

I liked the Boston albums. I added the Third Stage one.

We need more albums for the bands already listed.

i feel like when an artist that does a lot of slower songs makes a fast paced song, it usually turns out great.
Queen- Don't Stop Me Now/Headlong
Creedence- Travelin' Band
Elton John- Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting

Jack Johnson and John Mayer

Camel
Mirage

is there any more boston songs that sound like the intro to this :o
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HuLpztWyFA
I don't know of any other Boston songs that have a similar intro, but I know Nektar does. The intro to that song, Long Time, is very much like progressive rock bands like Yes and Nektar. Check out these:

Nektar
A Tab in the Ocean
Journey to the Centre of the Eye

The beginning of A Tab in the Ocean is really good and sounds a lot like the beginning of Long Time, but I suggest you listen to both of those albums.

Peach Stealing Monkeys and their song "I Don't Want To Set the World On Fire"

This is a good one:

Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison

Has anyone ever imagined what the Beatles could have done if they had not broken up right as the 1970s started?

I mean, all of their albums had been getting progressively better. I think that Abbey Road and Let It Be were their best. I can't imagine the music they could have made if they had remained together well into the 70s, as well as the continued influence on other music during that time. I see the Beatles' last few albums as the best music I have ever heard. I don't even put them on my top ten lists of best bands/albums; they are on a whole other level.

Do any of you like swing? I do. I feel like the only kid who even knows about The Dorsey Brothers, Gershwin, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, and an array of others.

I broke down most of the albums I posted into the best sections. These are the best parts of the albums and I highly suggest you listen to them, as well as the whole albums themselves. The starred ones (*) are parts I highly suggest you listen to, especially if you're not familiar with the band or you haven't really liked them from what you're heard of them. The double starred ones (**) you have to listen to because of the shear genius involved with them. You should listen to them all though.

Enjoy and please quote the parts you really like because I'd like to see which ones are your favorites. You can also post favorite parts of your own songs, or my songs. I'd like you hear yours too.

blok you have a problem with elitist opinions

you removed the "60s 70s rock" from the name and decided that "good music" would be enough again
