SMF is the forum software, it has nothing to do with hosting it. you're right though, however, and the host would have very little to do with the search feature. but anyway, that doesn't mean it can't be fixed. forum software can be modded just like anything else. how do you think he added the key thing?

That wouldn't be completely flawless because some people can't/don't use the quote button. Sounds like a really good idea though
