On a scale of 1 to 100, how satisfied are you with blockland?

I take back my 85/100, I give it a 95/100. Blockland physics are really just part of what blockland is, but I still think better shader optimization would be nice.

If one were to not focus on the things we currently don't have (better vehicle physics, hopefully), haven't had (maps), or will never have (the paragon of sandbox games that everyone wants, in their own vision of the game), blockland is perfect.  The community is perfect too.  Although people (including myself) may find others on the forums annoying, it's simply because we have a large number of younger individuals nowadays.  Those individuals just need to grow up, and they will.  It doesn't mean we have to flame them off the forums, we need to support them in their efforts to learn how to be good and do good things in and for the game.

Maps are gone, boo hoo.  Why are you sad?  The primary purpose of blockland is building, and everything is based around the brick.  The only reason people prefer maps over ModTer is because vehicles work better on maps and the massive amount of bricks required to make a Map-scale environment is huge.  Vehicles are not the center of blockland, so ratings cannot be based off of that aspect.  What are the fixes for these?  Better vehicle physics and an increased brick limit.  the former is completely possible and the latter is plausible.

Blockland is definitely a fantastic building game with tons of creativity but could still use lots of polishing to make this game "great", such as server capacity and vehicle physics that still reflect the old maps. The game still needs something to take the place of maps, and shaders doesn't fill that empty void. However with recent additions such as bots and gamemodes, and eventually the Steam release, I think Blockland is headed in the right direction.

Was 95, now is 79.

More attention needs to be paid to what the modding community needs. This game is driven by user-created mods.
