Mr. Wallet's Rise of Blockland

So I was thinking I might actually start having a tiny bit of free time to actually do something that I wanna do and not what other people wanna do. I asked Mr. Cookie if he thought anyone would be into it if I went back and redid Rise of Blockland, and he linked me This month-old topic where he had posted it was his favorite server ever. So I bumped the thread and 2 more people said they liked my server.
So this is not an official announcement that I'm definitely doing anything, but I'm thinking about going back and doing Rise of Blockland over again with all the nice things about programming and software design that I've been learning in my fancy college classes. This topic is kind of an exploratory "market research" to test what I think I know and remember about the project.
If you played Rise of Blockland:
* What features did you find most engaging/fun?
* What features did you find most boring/frustrating?
* What experiences gave you good feelings while on the server? Feel free to speak generally or tell specific stories as it suits you.
* What experiences gave you bad feelings while on the server?
* What did you always wish had been a part of RoB, but never got to see as a reality?
* What would you most hope to see if RoB were brought back?
* And anything else you'd like to say.
