Author Topic: Who is excited for christmas?  (Read 10442 times)

Lose your socks? Really?
People seem to lose their socks alot, people always telling stories about how they lose a sock and then they're mad or something.

You are excited because you're expecting people to give you free stuff.
I'm excited for Christmas for the opposite reason. I put a few simple things on my list to help me focus on what to buy other people.
Generally, people feel better about giving things to other than to recieve things from others.

Sounds like you had a pretty bad childhood.

I like the family that come over and stuff.

Oh and the currently dwindling amount of presents due to financial items.

Until I was 10.  I found easter grass in plastic bags in the basement and asked my mom the meaning.

Until I was about 7 or 8. A kid at my brother's birthday party ruined it for me lol

I think this year will be better than last year.

You reach a certain age when Christmas is just a thing that happens.  Another day with no work and such.
Oh Charlie Brown, you're no fun! Isn't either the solace of self contemplation or the festivities among either your peers, family, or otherwise jumbled together in a premeditative union just fantastic? The feeling of taking in the year in review, bad or good, and the hopes of the next year to dawn a better day is just glorious, is it not? And don't you come to appreciate more moral values within the mind every passing December; rather than beholding material items you become more romanticized among your ideals and prefer the cherished moments within such quarters, and thus you take in more of an emotion of refinement being even more thankful than you would during the earlier months, to be thankful that you can have such solace or union? Question question charged word question?
