What shoes should I get?

i can understand spending that much on special shoes for say, basketball, or football, but not for just regular use.

All I wear are basketball shoes. I play in 3 different basketball leagues during the winter, so it's not like I buy them just for the hell of it.

Spending a lot of money on shoes is a bad idea. I've noticed my shoes don't last more than a few months, and not because they are cheap. $100 pair lasted me about 3 months this year. Treating your shoes like a trophy is just insanity.

If you're sporty, follow Ravencroft and get Nike or Adidas
If you're like me, and you just wear stuff like what I just posted, get like
Asics (kind of expensive running shoes. average price: $70.00)
