"Blockland could not save your preferences"

"Blockland could not save your preferences."

I'm getting this bug on my mac. Does anybody have a fix for it? I can play, but I have to re-fix my settings every time and it's a pain in the arse. It's telling me that I'm running it out of the dmg when I'm just launching it from steam directly.
