Upsides and downsides to the Steam version?

Downside: The Blockland serial you register with Steam is permanently attached to your Steam ID. You will not be able to play with another serial key using your Steam account as far as I know.

only downside if you actually plan on getting banned. in every other case, it just makes a guarantee you can use that one forever, no matter what.

nah that won't interfere with alts on the forum. you'd just have to buy the key through the website like normal
