I have only clean-shaven once in my life, 5 years ago. I trim down my beard because I look good with a beard.

Learn the way I did, just figure it out based on what you know. Its really simple.
Step 1: get face wet
Step 2: Get shaving cream and put some in your hand (SHAKE WELL FIRST)
Step 3: Apply to areas you're going to shave
Step 4: Use razor to glide down your face causing hair to be shaved off.
Step 5: Rinse razor

Repeat step 4 and 5 till you have completely shaved
