because this is literally the only game i can think of where that's not the case

insurgency seems to have a really nice recoil system along with damage

guns magically lose their recoil and stop jumping everywhere when I jam my face into the sight? forget, I should join the army. stuff's easy.
I mean that's not exactly a problem because those games are stuff for reasons besides their shooting mechanics

if you're talking about the whole recoil pattern thing then yeah, but this is far from the only game that doesn't have aim-down-sights-turns-your-gun-into-a-braindead-laser-pointer.

no, the implication in most games is that in ADS you're in a stance to better keep the weapon steady, and that's entirely accurate

that doesn't mean it's any less of a great example of good weapon performance in a shooter
