quadilious:

dont suck so much then

theres a map thats really good for improving aim and deathmatch helps a lot too

after playing this game for awhile my aim has improved pretty well, to the point where im shooting and killing people that im barely looking at or that i dont expect to kill

Muzzles56:

ive tried a load of those maps, they just teach me how to shoot targets or bots, not people

even 1v1 maps dont do jack

One thing I do, especially after changing mouse conditions, is load up a match with myself and focus on a single target and practice snapping to it, rotating a bit when I keep getting it right. I usually start out to the left, then once I master that I go bottom left, just rotating clockwise.

I've always had a natural affinity for FPS's, but I never clicked competitively for CSGO. I had played mostly twitch reaction games like CoD and such. And even if I played CSS or CSGO, it would be the other game types like zombie escape and stuff like that. It wasn't until a month or so ago when my friend showed me some of the easier weapons (PRO90 IM LOOKIN AT YOU) and their spray pattern, that I eased into it. Played a few competitive matches with my friend and got better and better and my very first rank was GN3. Ranked to GNM a little later, but deranked like a match or so after. I feel like my skill is a little more of a GN2, but if I play with my friend, I usually get matched on a level playing field for me.
