played a comp match where the enemy team was all in the same group, either they were really bad or we were great because we won

Ok load up some medium skilled bots on a dust2 deathmatch or something, grab an ak and literally only focus on one tapping the enemy. But if bad peripherals are holding you back you should definitely upgrade those because it makes an incredible difference.
CS is also very much a game of matchups. Whenever I hold a bad position I lose pretty much 100% of the duels I take at LE.
