Server Idea: Add-on Trading Market

Hello.

I just thought of this server idea, where you can trade add-ons with other users. So this is how it goes.
A user can make his/her own shop in the server, and place item bricks inside it. The item brick will have the event that shows any text. (The item brick will have the name of the add-on) Then, the players in the server can go around shops/vendors and browse through the item bricks of the merchant. The merchant and the consumer can make deals. If people do not have any add-on they want, they can hang out in the lounge.

What do you guys think about this server idea?

SWAT One:

Are you saying that players download the weapon in game, but triggered from some RTB Mod Manager-like system, but brick and event-based?

Or just a general shop.

No, they don't download it. When a player clicks on a brick, he/she can see the name of the add-on. When two people make a deal, they give each other links to the download page of the addon. Using the personal message addon on RTB.

Could be easily cheated or whatever the word is?

You could claim you have a copy of a popular mod, when its really a fake mod that just makes you alarm every 5 seconds.

I don't think would be a very good idea. The server would be prone for traplinking, and as far as I know, add-ons shouldn't be traded. Also this would cause some troubles if someone for example would be selling the Mini-Nuke many servers would use it and this would be the way to trade all those unwanted and CRC'd add-ons.
