Not sure if this is what you meant by the image browser thing, but what about something that when you click on a link to an image file; instead of opening your browser, it downloads the image and uses a GUI to display it in the game window. Should have a Save/Discard button.

When you get promoted, you have an option to stay at your level or still get promoted but keep your job name.
Reaching level 10 of a job grants perks. Also you can have multiple jobs if you can handle it. If you leave a job you can resume the job at the same level you were and also you keep your perk.
Okay here's some job ideas (you start at level 1 for each):

Shop tree:
Level 1: Hotdog seller
Level 2: Janitor
Level 3: Cashier
Level 4: Chef
Level 5: Head Chef
Level 6: Manager
Level 7: Shop Owner
Level 8: Shop CEO
Level 9: Shop Company Owner
Level 10: Glorified Company Creator - Lods Emony perk: All the money from purchases now go directly to you, no money goes to the government!
Special 10: If you go into the law tree you can start at level 8.
Special 10: If you go into the political tree you can start at level 5.

Law tree:
Level 1: Snitch
Level 2: Volunteer Cop
Level 3: Cop
Level 4: Glorified Cop
Level 5: Detective
Level 6: Vice Detective
Level 7: Police Chief
Level 8: Lawyer - You can parole people now.
Level 9: Judge
Level 10: Supreme Court Judge - Baton Hands perk: You can now arrest people just by clicking on them or attacking them with any weapon.
Special 9: If you go into the political tree you can start at level 5.
Special 10: If you go into the political tree you start at level 9, however you must sacrifice your position in the law tree.

Political tree:
Level 1: Fedora Wearing Neckbeard
Level 2: Political Opinion Announcer
Level 3: Court Visitor
Level 4: Unknown Politician
Level 5: Politician
Level 6: Popular Politician
Level 7: Mayor
Level 8: State Governor
Level 9: President
Level 10: Ruler of the Free World - Shaky Hands perk: You can now request up to 1,000,000 funds from the government every two days via the bank.
Special 8: If you go into the law tree you can start at level 9.
Special 9: If you go into the law tree you can start at level 10, however you must sacrifice your position in the political tree.
Special 10: If you go into the law tree you can start at level 10, however you must sacrifice your position in the political tree.

Criminal tree:
Level 1: Sucker
Level 2: Trouble Person
Level 3: Street Dealer
Level 4: Hired Gun
Level 5: Gang Member
Level 6: Gang Boss
Level 7: Mob Member
Level 8: Mob Boss
Level 9: Godfather
Level 10: Godfather of all Godfathers - Sneaky perk: You now get much less demerits for doing crimes, and your prison time is halved.
Special 10: If you go into the law tree you can start at level 8, however you must sacrifice your position in the criminal tree.
Special 10: If you go into the political tree you can start at level 5, however you must sacrifice your position in the criminal tree.
