Make them play roblox, with no lag fps problems.
With 1000 blocks loaded, i get ~50 fps on my super computer.
The whole thing is like a student project that has gone out of control.
Roblox is a financially successful community site and I respect it for that, but it is simply not in the same league as Blockland in terms of gameplay. ~Aw yeah
From 2009, but I've never played roblox. Seen my younger sister play it thousands of times, and I always remember this post.
Off topic: I just realized Badspot made a drama O.O I never knew that.... http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=168414.0

A better computer wont fix lag, lag has little(if anything) to do with computer specs.

My apologies, I hope everyone understood what I meant by lag. Even though I used it incorrectly, it seems you did.

the build should be the titanic recreation/maximum infinity mining/a family RP that allows freebuilding

Plus, they have to host it themselves too.

Have them use the port's smooth shaders
YES, that would be amazing

That was the intention, thus my linking to them in the tweet...

Port's smooth shaders + max shaders + sylvanor's city + gigantor resolution + megashot x10 + tons of projectiles and emitters

Oh god.

even i can run seattle on max with shaders with like 80fps

ports shaders on the other hand are horrible, they bring me down to like 5fps with more than 10000 bricks in view

After looking at LPC's specs, the normal blockland shaders won't be a problem for it, even with a massive build. However I think Port's shaders will give it a run for it's money.

Any news on the challenge?

You'd think it'd be a given.

Nope, folks should try and spread the word in a way that people will notice. I'm thinking of posting it on Reddit later.

What do you expect to happen?

I'd vote money that the LPC is gonna run fine with all of those settings, simply because I can play just fine on max without forced AA on a rather large build.
On a GTS 450.
Which pretty much is the budget graphics card out of the GT 400 series.
