Gear Shifting
Bomberguy:
You heard about gear shifting on real life vehicles (Ford gran torino etc etc) Well this is just a suggestion Let me get this straight There is 3 options for your shifting
-Manual(Shift manually)
-Automatic(Shifts for you)
-And off(No shifting)
I think this will be great for racing servers and drag racing on Blockland and would be great on Filipes driving server or ANY other kind of server that involves driving
and if you are a car fanatic (Such as me X3) Filipe if you read this it would be greatly appreciated if you make a video or a addon about this.
EDIT: Also would have a speedometer if shifting is on
DOUBLE-EDIT: This shifting implementation might correspond to filipes more sounds suggestion if he might agree Or it will just work that way with a engine sound and pitch bending AS IF it were actually
shifting

if only a person will just post :c :panda:

It was only 10 minutes when you posted this...
Anyway, good idea but it will require sound to be linked to speed, which I think might be glitchy. Would also need a keybind for manual shifting.

True enough But if this WAS implemented the keybind will be set to SHIFT + ]

It's been ten minutes. Calm down. It's slower around the BL discussion boards.
Anyways the closest we can currently get to this is holding the 'walk' key while driving to drive slower. Other than that this doesn't seem all that necessary. Have you been using your handbrake? Maybe on well-made vehicles that'd help you get your drifting fix.
