Brick Grid Lock

Just a (hopefully?) simple request, an add- on which forces bricks to be locked to a specific grid, which, in my case, would need to be a 2x grid. What I'm asking is so that whenever you place a brick with the brick tool or move the brick with your numpad it will only move the brick in increments of 2, meaning I can't accidentally mess up while trying to keep the terrain I'm building in a 2x grid. For reference, here is an uneven, 1x grid- locked build:
And here is a terrain build locked to a 2x grid:
If someone could either link me a similar mod or make one it would be much appreciated, thanks!

Well, I know there is an addon where you must begin your build with a 64x64 base and sets it to a grid (as I've seen on Xalos' Bunker), but it doesn't seem to work with normal bricks. You might wanna find that and look into its code.

Theres a mod somewhere which changes the shift amount client sided. Im not sure what its called, it was released probably a few months ago now.

edit: might not work correctly if you're lagging, just like moving bricks normally
