No. You catch zero fishies. I've gone fishing dozens of times and I've caught maybe two or three fish in my lifetime, all of which have been little tiny forgeters that aren't satisfying at all.

It sure as hell requires a stuffton of patience. Something about sitting on a boat for an hour with my line sitting in the water just doesn't do it for me, it feels like such an immense waste of time. Maybe if I was doing something productive while I was fishing it might be more enjoyable, but at that point it wouldn't really be fishing, it'd be doing something else while waiting.
It's that patience that gets you fish like this one, and this one isn't even THAT big.

Mornings my dad and I catch as many as 20 bass.

So, being conservative about your definition of "morning" I'm assuming this is about a 4 hour period.

That's 240 minutes, divided by 20 fish. That's approximately 10 minutes of sitting around doing nothing between catching a fish for about 2 minutes. That's on a good day, assuming you're only out for 4 hours. That's like staring at a blank TV for 10 minutes so you can watch 2 minutes of your favorite TV show on loop until you give up.

I go out after dinner with my dad at my cottage and we catch as many as 30 bass in less than 2 hours of being out. Happens every year, nearly every day we're up there in June.

If normal rates were that high, I'd love fishing. But, unfortunately, they really aren't. You have to go at a specific time of year at a specific time of day to a specific place in the world to get rates like that, and I simply don't have the drive to do that. I'd rather sit on my ass and watch TV where it's entertaining 100% of the time instead of 33% of the time.

Adrenaline while watching TV: 0%    Adrenaline while fishing: 50%+

Its not that hard to catch that many fish, or more, if you actually TRY, go to a lake/river that is decent for fishing, and have a good attitude about it. Time of day, time of year, and specific place help a LITTLE bit.

Idk, I get an adrenaline rush when I'm watching TV and something exciting happens. I wouldn't know if I get an adrenaline rush from fishing, the last 4 times I went out I caught nothing.

There's tons of better uses of my time.

Gosh, you need a good adrenaline rush. You ever go hunting?

i know. i thought there were vegetarians that eat fish and no other meat.

My aunt is one of those. Apparently Vegetarians eat no meat, and vegans (my aunt) eat no meat besides fish. So I guess that is the difference.

Hunting and Fishing are culture here but I don't hunt because I don't have any sort of gun to use.
I enjoy fishing though when I do have a pole to use. I fish bottom lake myself.

Where do you live?

Gosh, you need a good adrenaline rush. You ever go hunting?
No, but I've gone speeding three times the speed limit of 45mph past a cop with his radar gun out.

You, my friend need to do the following:

Find a better fishing spot

Go hunting

Usually from 5AM through sunrise, so yeah 3-4 hours. It's not all about the fishing though. I find it fun to sit in the middle of the lake, have a few drinks and just enjoy the weather. And when you do catch a good sized fish it's worth the whole trip.

That's just stupidity...
