| Is it possible to transfer data between severs? |

transferring the score/chat shouldn't be too hard, but why transfer the saves when you can just have them pre-downloaded? |

I think somebody in Scattered Space was working on a project where bans and server preferences were synced between servers, but that's not exactly what you need. Anyway, yes it's possible. |

What you asked for in the OP is possible, but for what use? --- End quote --- Well, at the moment, there is nothing in particular I'd use this for. But it would be useful for, as stated in the OP, linking servers together to create a sort of "super-server", increasing vehicle, player, and brick limits (kinda like how some open world games and RPGs are set up). --- Quote from: phflack on January 02, 2014, 12:02:50 PM ---transferring the score/chat shouldn't be too hard, but why transfer the saves when you can just have them pre-downloaded? --- End quote --- That was just an example of something that could be transferred. But it could be useful - for example, if an admin edits a part of something that is universal across all the servers, a proprietary saving system could sync it between servers. |
