Yes, but oven is really the way to go, more bang for the buck and all that.
Or you could go with food processor, it's an upgraded version of blender.

Yep, but don't listen to Nachtara, use brazilianfartresearch, its the best program for making 3d stuff, and its free and lets you export then directly for blockland. You look on google images for it for some examples of how it works.
