Using Wayback Machine To Get Older Version: Does it Work?

No, it means you go away.
Playing older versions is not supported, your servers will not appear on the master list and you'll be all alone.
Abusing a cheat to get your server on the master list will get you banned from hosting public servers.

I can smell someone about to post a link to an older version. Don't do it man, you'll get banned.
Also I think you need to disable Internet to play older versions correctly or something. So it probably won't work.
