do you guys have to be this mean to the steam users?

It seems whenever I get all open armsy with newbies, especially on my server they don't seem to understand anything Im saying, either they can't understand English or something else, but Im always nice to em, heck the older community was nice to me when i was new :) when i wasn't acting like a buttnugget that is...
Why all the newbie hate anyways? we were all like them at some point if you think about it.
