Having some Sims 3 problems (HELP)

Well, Currently I want to install a mod. I keep clicking the launcher icon on the mod but it says:

A; I already have origin installed.
B; If I click on Sims 3 in my origin library, it launches fine.
What the hell?

I forgot to mention, it says this when I open the launcher Desktop Shortcut too.

Why not just run it though there if it works fine. Most mods will work fine if you run it though origin

Sims3pack? Than put it in Downloads in your sims 3 folder
