Author Topic: Would it be possible to port Blockland to Unity?  (Read 3886 times)

Also how long do you think it would take for it to be ported? I have asked a few people, and most said more than 2 years.

it'd be possible to remake it from scratch

the real problem is making it work as well as it does now

that sounds like a dumb idea

why reinvent the wheel

Every add-on
would have
to be
remade.

imagine trying to rewrite bad vehicle physics. oh god.

unless it had some sort of torque script parser

I didn't realize that everything would have to be remade including add-on's. What if there was a separate version of Blockland and it had a different name which ran Unity? And what if this version of Blockland became free and no longer worked on? I think people would be a lot more satisfied.

this isn't something you can just simply make as a side project

lmfao

why not unreal 3 while were at it

just remodel the blockhead and rewrite building mechanics and you'll have a potential blockland mobile edition! android tablets only.

Someone tried to make on for the PSP but just kinda stoped and left it.

Are you loving stupid?
1) unity is loving stupid.
2) what we have is fine now, why change?

hes kinda right about unity though. its not for BL.
