I can help out, I've been thinking of starting a Blockland Press sort of thing and I think this would be a good starter for me.

1. it also checks if the master server and main website are down, so isblocklanddown makes perfect sense
2. yes, tons of people do; you just don't apparently
3. the forums are related to the game, what's your point?
