Mac users not able to use add ons

TheEHMO:

I'm posting this in General Discussion because this is a major issue and its been lingering in HELP for almost a week with no helpful response.

I have been able to download and use addons successfully for years. One of the last two updates disabled most of my addons. Out of my entire list of downloaded addons, only four appear operable in game.

I have Mac OS 10.5.8 and other users have issues too, please refer to excks' topic for prior discussion; it's 6 days old

If I download anything from RTB in game I come to the same issue. No matter if I restart the game or not, I have the addons in my folder, but they're not operable in game.
For the past year I have been playing without my favorite colorset, bricks, vehicles, and it takes a ton of time to load a server.

I know I'm not the only one with this issue. If I could post a console.log I would but I don't see how it would help.
Discussion and guidance appreciated.

Please lock this, post in Help (which you never did, so how were we supposed to help you?), and post your console log. Yes, they're useful.

You still need to provide us a console log for us to have the information required to diagnose your problem. The console.log file is in the root folder of your  Blockland directory (documents\Blockland).

Also, regardless what you think this post will still be moved to the correct section (help) and you will likely get banned for blatant violation of that rule in the future. Just a warning.

TristanLuigi:

Are you even using your Steam directory (assuming you've converted to Steam)? The documents folder doesn't work with Steam BL.
