Are these tablets considered property of the schools, or are they just given to you and you get to keep it and do what you want with it?

My school gives out iPads to their staff because it saves money and paper to look over documents, and to jot down notes.

They are property of the school, but we get to take them home.

i find tablets to be mind-bogglingly frustrating and absolutely useless. i mean unless you invest in a USB keyboard, it's basically a giant cellphone that can't text, make calls, or connect to 3G.

there's a good reason why cellphones arent that big.
