Author Topic: Steam Player Retention  (Read 2486 times)

Players that went out of their way to download and play blockland pre-steam are probably more dedicated to blockland.

One of steam's functions is as a game collector's container.
Very true for some people.

Or as official free DLC.
This would be a VERY good idea, IMO.

Just out of random curiosity...
How do new players find out about what RTB is about and how to download it?
They don't. Either that or they get it shown to them, like I showed a few.

This game is the lego version of garry's mod, so we should treat it as such. We should actually host decent servers, have a way to download mods pre-built into the game RTB style or use the steam workshops, and build story maps. Story maps are something I've liked doing for a long time, but blockland has a tendency of getting wrecked when it comes to brick count + stuff actually happening, making them unplayable.
