So I had this idea where you have a tool like a laser pointer, when you slide it through a block, it will break into 2 different pieces and it will advance your building experience.

That's impossible unless you're cutting it exactly at a stud/plate border, and the two result bricks already exist.

fake killed bricks are still whole bricks
