| Why are brick textures 512x512?? |

It's not the same decal, it's a separate file in a Ground_ add-on (Add-Ons/Ground_Plate/plate.png). |

it's 2014 and there's still games that feature sub-1k resolution textures??? I seriously do wonder what'd happen if someone made a 2k texture pack. Probably nothing and everyones game blows up. |
