I did tested with the shape. The model are bad idea. I can use the image for projectiles.

If you want to recolor a projectile that uses a model, you need a model for each color. As far as I'm aware, no script will do this for you. You may be able to recolor the particles, and if you remove the model from the projectile, that may suffice.
