i like brand x and epicscore. i dont really like movie scores thought. i guess it cos when i hear the song i think about the movie instead of whatever im trying to do. i like some old classical music but not a lot.

Does film score count?

Does film score count?
Yes, of course. Classical is classical; doesn't matter what it's used for.

I like to compose orchestral music (i dunno if it falls under classical), so here's a quick song I whipped up in like five minutes for a digital video project a few weeks ago and film score counts so

I should really start listening to actual classical music, but from what I heard, I really like Stravinksy's work. Anyway, I use Logic Pro to compose, unless my project is extremely simple. Garageband usually gets the job done just the same in that case.

i really should post on creativity but w/e i don't really have time to work and i'd rather share something great than this

Ride of the Valkyries.

unter dem doppeladler
obligatory 1812 overture

anyone else know of some good military march themes?

Classical is a genre. Genres don't care about time.
Classical isn't the same thing as instrumental? or at least similar?

Also
Lux aeterna and Requiem for a tower

My school orchestra is playing Vaughn Williams' Variations of Dives and Lazarus on this concert. It's great.
