okay cool, is there a certain video/website that tells you how to do it or what
can you get this "cydia" on there, i've never seen it in action before but i'm guessing it's an app you get when you jailbreak it

You can do it.
I think you use redsn0w with an iOS 6 ipsw (not 6.1.5 just plain 6), then you go to Cydia and install p0sixspwn to make it untethered.

and ipsw is basically a image file for an ios version
you can't downgrade anymore steemer

It's a file that contains the operating system information I think

You can't downgrade to previous ios versions anymore because apple put more security measures I think
IIRC you need an ipsw signed by apple

You don't downgrade, the ipsw is used to trick the program I think.

thank you i will go jailbreak it according to the tutorial and get back to this topic to let you know if it worked or not

also it's telling me to download 6.0 firmware, but i have 6.1.5, do i download my firmware or what it tells me to download (6.0)?
