What makes a good Renderman Hunt?

I was browsing around servers just now, and I joined a renderman hunt.
I've never been in one before-- and I actually found it kind of creepy, and a little exciting.
Now, this may be because it's something new to me, and I've never played in one before, but I really want to know...

What makes a good renderman hunt?

What would it take, to get you to join a renderman hunt?
If I were to make and host a game mode, what would you like to see in it?
What kind of map would you like?
Do you want it to be a survival, or an actual hunt with weapons?
Should it be a big open environment, or an enclosed interior?

I'd like to know what you think (:

-Good maps (i.e abandoned asylum)
-No weapons at first, you must find them.
-Fun and fast-paced gameplay

Subpixel:

Randomly spawned weapons that you need to find, and you need to survive the longest or something.

What would be a good time limit? Somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes?
